MasterCard Brand CenterAs an employee of MasterCard International, Patrick Ohlin spearheaded development and launch of the organization’s first-ever corporate identity and the redesign and global rollout of its consumer brand marks for MasterCard®, Cirrus®, Maestro®, and Mondex®. He also identified the need for and drove creation of the MasterCard Brand Center. When launched, the MasterCard Brand center reduced MasterCard costs and revolutionized the way MasterCard, its issuing and acquiring banks, and the myriad card, print, media and signage vendors accessed and used the brand marks. Beyond establishing automated updates of artwork and standards, the site became the means for centralizing procurement efforts worldwide, in over 33 countries and countless languages. Today, the site continues to save MasterCard considerable resources, and has become an industry hallmark for achieving scalable brand management and control.
